Santa Lina is a farmhouse built by our grandfather Angiolo Bianchi in 1911, on the occasion of her daughter’s birthday, Lina, our mother.
For Lina, this property left to her by her father, represented the continuity of the family and however she has always kept it, not alienating it even in times of economic difficulty.
The original building was extended in the 50s by our father Giuseppe Bianchi, but, owing to his premature death and the agricultural crisis affecting those years, the activity underwent an interruption.
In the 90s our family, with the intention of recovering its value and memory, started again the renovation works of the building, keeping the original features of the typical Tuscan farmhouse, and the agricultural production with the implantation of a biological olive grove.
In 1998 we began our activity of farmhouse holidays that since then we have been managing directly.
Angelo is a farmer and attends to the administration of the activity and the agricultural sector consisting mainly in the cultivation of the olive trees; Pier Francesco is a Maths teacher and deals with the reservations, the web site and public relations; Mariella e Giovanna welcome our guests, take care of the external spaces and the flats making them cosy and aesthetically agreeable.
